Story

  • Traditional dragon dance held to mark ethnic culture in southwest China (2019-05-13)
  • The 20-meter-long dragon, with over 1,000 scales on its body, is made of straw. People from various ethnic groups celebrate Na, which is the term commonly used in Guangxi to denote a rice field. The Na festival is celebrated every year on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, with locals singing, dancing and waving the straw in the fields.    Photo by Imaginechina
